CHILDREN’S CATECHUMENATE: Children in grades 3 and above who have not celebrated Baptism or First Communion may be prepared for these Sacraments this year. The deadline is September 7th, so call ext. 2711 as soon as possible!

 

NEW LITURGICAL MINISTERS may still sign up as Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Altar Servers, Musicians or Greeters/Ushers. The deadline is September 1st.

SENIOR LUNCH BUNCH: Wednesday, September 1st, seniors of the parish are invited to attend rosary at 11:40 A.M., Mass at noon, and a potluck lunch in Jaeger Hall after Mass. Drinks and dessert will be provided; bring a main or side dish to share. Call the parish office by Tuesday, August 31 to reserve your spot.

 

A QUICK JOURNEY THROUGH THE BIBLE, by Jeff Cavins: An 8-Part Introduction to the Bible Timeline. This 8-part program provides an excellent introduction to the Bible Timeline learning system along with a meaningful overview of salvation history. Jeff Cavins briefly covers salvation history in a series of 8 half-hour talks that are complemented by group discussion questions, useful maps and charts, and brief assignments for home study. This is a great way to “get your feet wet” and learn how to begin authentic Catholic Bible study. Women’s “Quick Journey” Bible Study: Monday evenings beginning September 20, 7:00-8:30 P.M. Adult “Quick Journey” Bible Study: Tuesday evenings beginning September 21, 7:00-8:30 P.M. Cost for either class is $20. Registration deadline is Wednesday, September 1. The third year of THAT MAN IS YOU is scheduled to begin on Friday, September 10th. Breakfast will be available beginning at 5:45 A.M. in the school cafeteria, or start your day with the Communion Service first at 6:00 A.M. in the church. The program begins at 6:20 in the cafeteria and will conclude by 7:20. Come join some other great Catholic men of the parish for enlightening discussions.
