Campaign Corner

Dear Parishioners,

We are steadily progressing! At this point, we are nearing the $2.5 million mark in our “Generations in Faith” campaign.

As I mentioned in the previous week’s bulletin … over the next 2 months we will be making our final push for the campaign. We have a lot of ground to cover, but I’m confident that, with everyone’s participation, we will be able to realize our $7 million goal.

PARISH OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED on Monday, September 1st for the Labor Day holiday.

ALL LITURGICAL MINISTERS: The September schedule is now available. Also, look for info in the mail regarding our annual refresher/training meetings. And Lectors with up-coming assignments will meet this Wednesday, September 3rd, 1:30 P.M. only.

SENIOR LUNCH BUNCH: Mark your calendar for Wednesday, September 3rd for 11:40 A.M. rosary, noon Mass and potluck lunch in Jaeger Hall. Drinks and dessert will be provided. Please call the parish office by Tuesday, September 2nd for reservations.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION & FAITH FORMATION
Contact Betty Lucero at blucero@allsouls55.org or at ext. 2709 regarding the following announcements.

COURAGEOUS LOVE, A BIBLE STUDY ON HOLINESS FOR WOMEN, is now forming. The group will meet on Wednesday mornings beginning September 10, 9:30-noon, Jaeger Hall. Child care will be provided. Please watch the bulletin for further information.

ADULT CONFIRMATION: Are you an adult who has not received the Sacrament of Confirmation and are interested in being confirmed? Classes for Adult Confirmation are now forming. Contact Betty by September 30.

HIGH SCHOOL CONFIRMATION PREPARATION: High school Confirmation classes are now forming for students who are in high school and have not received the Sacrament of Confirmation and would like to receive the Sacrament in the spring of 2009. Contact Betty by September 30.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION REGISTRATION: The deadline for registration is quickly approaching. NO registrations will be taken after September 8th. Please mail in your pre-registration form or call the RE office for a registration form.

ALL SOULS BOOK CLUB will be meeting the 2nd Tuesday of the month beginning September 9. Meetings are held in the Kappes RE Center from 9:00-11:00 A.M.

ANNUAL MEN’S RETREAT: All men of the parish, 18 & older, are invited to come to the annual men’s weekend retreat at Sacred Heart Jesuit Retreat House in Sedalia on the weekend of September 19-21. Please see the notice on the church bulletin board for further details. You may also secure a registration form in the vestibule.
